FIABCI is the acronym of the French words “Federation Internationale des Administrateurs de Bien-Conselis Immobiliers” or International Real Estate Federation.

On 27 October 2007, Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery has won the first place in the Specialized Category, awarded by FIABCI Malaysia.

The ceremony was held at One World Hotel and was graced by H.R.H. Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

The Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery has been nominated as the finalist in the Public Sector Category in the 2008 FIABCI Prix d’Excellence.

The FIABCI Prix d’Excellence recognizes the project that best embodies excellence in all the real estate disciplines involved in its creation.

The award is judged by an international panel comprising 17 top real estate professionals and expert from all over the world.

Projects are judges according to the following criteria:
• Architecture and design
• Development and construction
• Community benefits and environment impact
• Financial and marketing

The certificate as a finalist was presented by the President of FIABCI International to The Royal Gallery on Thursday 29th May, 2008 in Amsterdam.
